I started INDOSSATORE to show pics of people from the streets of Boston that I happen to find Trendy, Chic and unique.Independently of the particular desire of any given designer to catch a moment of glory and enroll an army of eager shoppers, each city tends to interpret the fashion trends in a very personal way and Boston is not an exception to the defining power of fashion and design.A lot of people mistakenly thinks that Boston lives in the shadows of the relentlessly fashionista New York city, this blog is here to prove this miss conception wrong.Boston's interpretations of fashion trends are much more complex because Bostonians are training for marathons, studing for another master degree and or working hard but always in style. My goal is to update INDOSSATORE often enough to keep you motivated to come back and visit more often, who knows, you might be the next INDOSSATORE caught infraganti on the streets of Boston.Thank You and Welcome to INDOSSATORE.
About Me
I was born 31 years ago in the fantastic city of Buenos Aires, where the newest trends of euro design hit the streets in perfect coordination with Paris, Milan and New York. If you find yourself planning a trip to Buenos Aires, please do not leave your best clothes behind. To the contrary of what most people think, Buenos Aires is not a beach destination, it’s a cultural destination, house of the best designers from around the globe and house of the unforgettable Evita, one of the most stylish woman of the last century. "People-watching while drinking coffee and eating a croissant" is considered national sport, so, if you happen to spot someone staring at you and whispering something on their friend's ears, yes, they are talking about what are you wearing. My mother and my father were very detail-orientated when it came to dressing my brothers and me, and most of our clothes were specially made for us following whatever the trend of the season was; summer clothes were forever my predilects, all soft and loosely woven cotton gauze fabric shirts and fine yarn of beautifully colored linen pants all picked by my mother exquisite taste. Each of my brothers have taken different roads that leaded us to different lives; I'm the one that continues to adore colors, shapes, textures, fabrics, patterns, designs, ideas, people and trends, but if you see the 4 of us all together all dressed up for a Christmas party, we look taken from the pages of a Vogue Man issue. This blog pays tribute to those days of matching brotherhood. I spent the last 8 years of my life in Boston working as an interior decorator and as a windows dresser, among my clients are some of the most beautifull and seccesful people in Boston. I will blog about them too. Boston is a city that I happen to adore for many reasons besides the 4 seasons. The air of Bohemia that somehow makes it across the river all the way from the universal Cambridge and embraces the elegant Boston doesn't cease to amaze me. The extremely white blond girls wearing black chunky glasses frames with tiny wool dresses rescued from the The Salvation Army and huge Marc Jacobs clutch in one hand and a book and a 18-karat yellow gold and black enamel Gucci Bamboo Bracelet in the other hand in the middle of the day almost inadequate and so uniquely Boston. Bostonians are indeed philosophical and arithmetical when it comes to getting dressed; no Bostonian wants to be mistaken for a simple trend-follower. Eclecticism, minimalism, bold and echo friendly trends will always be welcome to Boston because of its people and what they want the world to know about the place they live and love. So far I'm in Boston to stay, and to document our acceptance and rejection of the fashion trends, so, iIf you are one day walking down the street, any street not just Newbury , and I come up and ask to document you, please be kind; that means you are in the right place at the right time, in the right clothes! You are INDOSSATORE!
