Window shopping....Mass ave, Cambridge.

On my last visit to the ophthalmologist, I got hit with bad news, real bad news.
The Doctor said "You have the healthiest eyes I have seen today, so far." and even tho it was 9:30 in the morning! He sentenced me to "Come back in 4 years from today".
I immediately realized that I will be almost 35 years of age about that time and I have never wear glasses ever before?
Some time went by, and to my Luck I meet Jack! from SEE, Selective Eyewear Elements ttp://www.seeeyewear.com/ , that together with Katie Doble, the store manager, first flashed me a card with a 10% off valid thru December and second informed me that all frames comes with your choice of prescription glasses or non prescription glasses for fashion emergencies only.
Just like Sarah Palin one could too seduce all the way to the top!?
Anyways, in a politically charged year I have a lot of reading and watching to do, I might as well add a touch of SEE.

Introducing Gina.

I meet Gina DeWolfe while working as a dresser for a fashion show hosted by Clinton Kelly from the TV show "What no to Wear" at the beginning of the summer at Macy's.

I was surrounded by models, dressers, make-up artists and hair stylists and I remember saying: -"If there are 10 episodes of "what no to Wear" in a row, I'll watch all of them", and a sweet voice from the back replay -"Me too!". That was Gina.

Second time I saw Gina was last Wednesday, she was coming from the School of Fashion Design and she kindly agreed to posse for IndoSSatore.

I wasn't surprised to find out that she is being a busy little bee even before her graduation.

People wants to know WHAT is she doing and WHEN is her collection coming out.

Pick up the latest http://stuffatnight.com magazine to read an article about her http://stuffatnight.com/hubbub/archive/tags/venue_3A00_Technical/default.aspx.
Follow this link so you can too meet Gina at the Boston Fashion Week. http://www.fashionweek.org/.

Collegiates are back!

I saw this lady just outside of Finale Desserts on Harvard Square www.finaledesserts.com , sure she deserved the treat, after bringing her daughter all the way from France to her first day of classes. For people from other countries visiting Harvard University is an opportunity of a life time, and some want to do it in style, This french lady also understands the Summer heat of the streets of Cambridge.
To survive melting temperatures nothing better than a pair of soft, cool cotton-gauze wide-leg pants and a white and light linen women's summer coat, Chanel eyewear and to complete the look: french version of racy bra headbands , tre fun, tre chic!

Every community of immigrants in the USA do whatever it takes to keep their traditions alive.
This summer, Colombian Fashion Designer Isabel Lopez and her troupe of collaborators, producers, models, photographers, hair stylists and make-up artists, went out of their reach to make possible Miss Colombia-USA, event that honors and exhibits the beauty and culture of women from Colombia.
This year winner, spectacular Melissa Marín will enjoy a big money prize, trips to all sorts of events from around the country, a lot of press and a full new wardrobe from the latest Isabel Lopez '08 Collection to go with.
I collaborated with the stage design and decor for second time.
I'm thrilled to announce that this event gets bigger and bigger with the help of constant adds on TV, newspapers and magazines.

Very Cheap

The lower level of importance is reserved for the annoying plastic hangers, their job is less glamorous and they are just cheap very cheap.

Hanging Out

Meanwhile on the opposite side of the basement, wooden hangers do their favorite routine, just hang out and be laud, mannequins hate that.

We Are So Very Ready

They adore to get ready for casting calls.

Air Martinis

They also discuss the future of their individual careers while drinking air martinis.
